Free Press: Russia received classified data from US Reaper drone

The Russian side managed to obtain classified data from the American strike and reconnaissance UAV MQ-9 Reaper (“Reaper”), which crashed into the sea near Crimea on March 14 after the pilots of the Russian fighters who were following them staged “kerosene rain”.

The publication states that specialists of two “serious organizations” were given the opportunity to study the wiring of the microwave units of the APY radar system- 8, determine the energy parameters of its operation, calculate the level of immunity to interference and the resolution of the radar of the American drone and “learn to determine the increase of long-focus instruments and equipment of the AN/AAS-52 optoelectronic complex.”
Now, according to the publication , in Russia we know the telemetry, communication and information exchange frequency parameters of the American MQ-9 Reaper drone. This will make it possible to effectively use electronic means against him.
