Russia lost the elections in .three UN bodies, the Associated Press reports.
The election was held this week. Allegedly, the first failure was the vote for membership of the Executive Board of UNICEF, where Russia defeated Estonia.
They also ended in defeat in the election for a seat on the United Nations Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice, where Armenia and the Czech Republic won.

At the same time, representatives of the Russian Federation were elected by acclamation to the Commission on social development. Moreover, the elections to the Intergovernmental Working Group of Experts on International Accounting and Reporting Standards ended victoriously.
