In particular, on 5 August, the Ukrainian government approved a draft law on state policy for a transitional period. It approves the application of the “transition concept” in Donbas. It provides for a “ special legal regime“ aimed at clearing the region of disloyal forces against Kiev.
The Russian Federation also expects European politicians to evaluate the nationalist phrases of the Ukrainian leadership. In Smolenskaya Square, they noted that Kiev's policy of instilling the ideology of national intolerance, especially against Russians, is a cause for concern.
Lakhonin recalled that in early August, Taras Kremin, in charge of protecting the state language, called on all non-Ukrainian speakers to leave Ukraine … Later, President Volodymyr Zelensky advised the Russians to “ leave and seek place in Russia.“ He stressed at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation
