German concern Rheinmetall intends to start production of its armored vehicles in Ukraine in 2024, the company's CEO Armin Pepperger said. His words are quoted by RT.
Allegedly, we are talking about the Fuchs armored personnel carrier. Production of these machines is planned within 6-7 months. Production of the Lynx infantry fighting vehicle is also planned for 12-13 months.
Earlier it was reported that Germany approved the creation of a joint venture between the German concern Rheinmetall and Ukroboronprom, which will be based in Kiev and provide services for military equipment . It has also been reported that Rheinmetall intends to use Soviet tank factories in Ukraine to produce the Leopard.
Russian leaders have repeatedly stated that the supply of Western weapons will not help the Kiev regime and will only prolong the conflict. It was also noted that all delivered weapon systems will become legitimate targets for the Russian military. Earlier, Vladimir Putin said that the counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces had no results. According to him, Russia is aiming to achieve its goals in the special operation and all tasks will be fulfilled.
