A telegram fragment of a website was published in the Kremlin , directed by Russian President Vladimir Putin Angela Merkel, who left the post of Federal Chancellor of Germany.
The Russian leader expressed his gratitude to Merkel for his fruitful cooperation and readiness for a mutually respectful dialogue, and also stressed that, as Chancellor, she had “rightfully gained authority” in Europe and the world.
Putin, who turned to Merkel in a telegram, expressed confidence that her political experience would remain in demand, and also expressed hope for further friendly communication.
