Putin plans to meet with Lukashenko in the Kremlin on Friday

Presidents of the Russian Federation and Belarus Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko will hold their first meeting this year on Friday, February 18. TASS reported.

In the Kremlin, the leaders of both countries will discuss the situation around Ukraine, as well as security-related issues in Europe. Putin and Lukashenko will also discuss bilateral relations: the development of strategic partnerships and trade and economic cooperation.

For the Russian leader, this conversation will be a continuation of a number of personal international contacts. He has already met with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Brazilian President Jair Bolsonar in the Kremlin this week. Earlier, representatives of Argentina, Hungary, Kazakhstan and France visited Moscow.
