Russian President Vladimir Putin opened a series of meetings on Thursday to prepare a message for the Federal Assembly. He proposed to start today's talks with the government by analyzing the macroeconomic picture in the next three years.

Putin added that the decision was expressed by the president.
At the current meeting, the president and government will analyze the updated economic forecast for the next three. years and discuss its impact on the implementation of already planned state programs and projects and the launch of new initiatives.
