The American newspaper Politico reports that American citizens who have previously undergone combat training with other foreigners are taking part in hostilities in Ukraine.

According to a publication on the Kiev side, the Yankee Task Force is operating. Its leader is former police officer Harrison Josephowitz. According to him, there are about 190 volunteers in the group.
Some volunteers can take part in the fighting, but most are involved in the supply of food and medicine to the battle lines in the southern and eastern part of Ukraine.
Article clarifies that there is, among other things, an unspecified number of other Americans in Ukraine who take part in the fighting with Russian forces, along with volunteers from other countries and Ukrainians. US troops are not officially on the territory of Ukraine.
