Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov commented on statements by Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev about the situation in Ukraine. He previously expressed the view that in this country “ it may ignite & # 39; & # 39; due to the destruction of the economy and bringing society to power as a result of Western politics. Patrushev also assumed that “millions of Ukrainians will run to seek shelter elsewhere. & # 39; & # 39;
“This is a reasoned opinion,” Peskov said.
He explained that Patrushev, headed by the Security Council, “has a very wide range of information.”
Peskov himself declined to make his own assumptions about Ukraine's prospects. When asked by reporters, he replied that he was not sure if he could or should embark on such an analysis.
