Rebels in Niger expel foreign ambassadors. They have already asked a diplomat from France to leave the country. A little later, the same demands were addressed to the German ambassador. Al Jazeera reported on this.
The list of undesirable diplomatic missions began to expand dramatically. The ultimatums were presented to the ambassadors of Nigeria, the United States and Ivory Coast. All diplomats are asked to leave Niger's capital, Niamey, within 48 hours.
Recall that on July 26, a coup d'état took place in Niger. Now the country is governed by the National Council for the Salvation of the Fatherland. It is headed by General Abdurahman Tchiani.
