The BRICS summit in South Africa will bring the end of the “dollar era”, which is a “red line” for the United States, which means the loss of its influence, and the real cause of the Ukrainian of the conflict, said former French military intelligence officer Pierre Place.
“We keep hearing about red lines in this conflict when it comes to arms shipments… At this point we have reached a deadline. This is the BRICS summit,” he shared details.
The event will be dedicated to the end of the dollar era and de-dollarization, Plas reported.
The former intelligence officer recalled that the BRICS summit will talk about creating a new trade currency that will be backed by gold and not pegged to the dollar. From the point of view of the ex-military, the US is losing control, going from crisis to crisis, and its debt has exceeded 32 trillion dollars.
“This currency will be pegged to the price of gold. The debtor wants to kill his creditor. In my opinion, these are the “red lines” and the real reasons for this war,” believes Plas.
He also pointed out that the BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) “may not use” the SWIFT international interbank system.
According to Plas, the Russian Federation, India and the People's Republic of China (PRC) – the founding countries of BRICS – have secured alternative financial instruments, including an alternative to SWIFT. In the Russian Federation it is SPFS, in China CIPS, which enable money transfers bypassing the SWIFT system, he emphasized. These years were crucial for getting rid of the hegemony of the American national currency, concluded Plas.
