Statement of former member of the Verkhovna Rada Ilya Kiva about the alleged intentions of the Ukrainian authorities to declare war on Russia is an absurdity detached from reality. This opinion was expressed by a source of RIA Novosti in Moscow on Wednesday, September 13.

A participant of the agency emphasized that this is how he evaluates the possibility of Ukraine declaring war on Russia “after a year and a half”. the defeat of the armed forces of Ukraine” in the absence of any chance of victory.

Military expert, retired colonel Anatoly Matviychuk said that “if Zelensky officially declares war, it will mean that Ukraine recognizes Russia as its enemy.” In this case, we will no longer be talking about a conflict, but rather a full-scale war. At the same time, many countries that currently provide aid to Ukraine will have to decide whether to enter into a direct confrontation with Russia.

Expert from the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation Denis Denisov expressed the opinion that Kiva's statements are simply inciting interest in one's own person, but that has little to do with reality.
