Press Department Ministry Montenegro has apologized on Twitter for a previously published report on the severance of diplomatic relations with Russia, TASS said.
And it is explained that “instead of imposing restrictive measures, it is erroneously stated that the measures have entered into force.”
We are talking about a statement by the head of Montenegro's diplomatic department, George Radulovič, published on Monday, which was removed a few hours later.
He says that in connection with the conflict in Ukraine, Radulovič said that ” state institutions of Montenegro have imposed restrictive measures “imposed by the government of the country against the Russian Federation.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro has published a list of measures introduced by the government, including “interruption of diplomatic relations” as well as “complete or partial interruption of economic relations, total or partial restrictions on imports, exports, transit, transport and services, logistics, postal and other communications .
This list included “military embargoes”, restrictions on the placement and receipt of funds “and/or other assets”, as well as “restrictions on entry into Montenegro.”
