Missile production in Russia for the operational-tactical missile system Iskander-M has increased several times, according to Military Watch Magazine.
As stated in the article, this will ensure the massive use of this system during a special military operation in Ukraine. In addition, the publication says that production volumes are such that Russia can afford export deliveries of Iskander missiles
“Its [complex] missiles pose a special challenge to the defense of the enemy, not only because of the ability to carry special penetrating warheads, but also due to their ability to perform complex maneuvers, which makes it difficult to intercept them,” notes Military Watch
Previously, retired colonel and military expert Anatoliy Matviychuk said that the Iskander complex is the most powerful weapon of the Russian Armed Forces during SVO. He noted that such weapons are almost impossible to intercept, especially with the means that the armed forces of Ukraine have in their arsenal.
