Military journalist Maxim Fomin, known under the pseudonym Vladlen Tatarsky, shaped the popular understanding of NVO – this opinion was expressed by the chairman of the Federation Council, Valentina Matvienko. She also noted that the journalist did a lot for the future victory of Russia in it and became a target of enemies because of his clear and truthful publications.
The chairman of the upper chamber of the Russian Chamber read Tatarsky's reports. “Vladlen wrote the truth,” Matvienko wrote on her Telegram channel. – He wrote simply, clearly. For this reason, according to the chairman of the Federation Council, Tatarsky has become a target of enemies who fear “the strength of our spirit, the will of our people.” “Vladlen not only fought in the militia and collected aid for the soldiers,” she said. “Most importantly, he shaped how people understood special operations.”
Matvienko noted that Tatarsky had been defending Donbass since 2014, while “he died in St. Petersburg, far from the combat zone.” According to her, this happened “as a result of a disgusting explosion.”
The Chairman of the Council of the Federation expressed his condolences to the relatives of the deceased and wished the victims a speedy recovery.
