Photo: AP. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has announced his refusal to accept Ukrainian aircraft.
During a visit to the 2nd Children's Hospital in Minsk, the Belarusian leader noted that Minsk would impose retaliatory measures against Kiev, which imposed a ban on flights by the Belarusian airline.
“Since Ukraine has closed our flight, we will not simply accept aircraft from Ukraine,” Lukashenko was quoted as saying by Pulvoy Telegram.
Let us recall that Ukraine introduced these measures for European countries after the incident with the landing of a Ryanair plane in Minsk and the arrest of opposition blogger Roman Protasevich.
