Deployment of tactical nuclear weapons on Belarusian territory – this is an adequate response to the accelerated militarization of Eastern Europe. This opinion was expressed by the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, in his message to the participants of the XI. the Moscow Conference on International Security.
The current international situation remains unprecedentedly tense, according to the Belarusian leader. All known threats and challenges have escalated and the risks of using weapons of mass destruction are growing.
Lukashenko noted that today international law in the field of arms control is discredited. In all countries without exception, economic and national instability is observed as a result of information wars and cybercrime.
The system of international trade and economic relations is being undermined by a new type of weapon – restrictive measures and sanctions, Lukashenko believes.
