President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko he said his country would not stand aside in the event of a war in the Donbas. The press service of the Belarusian president informed about it.
“They understand the West: if they start a war in Donbas or somewhere on the border with Russia again, Belarus should not be left out,” Lukashenko said.
He added that “it is clear whose side Belarus will be on.”
Lukashenko believes that the West understands this, so he began to strengthen the Belarus-Ukraine border. But as the Belarussian president assures, there are no preconditions for this, the border is “even calmer than before.” He also added that he had no information about such plans in Russia.
