Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergei Lavrov said that Kiev was trying to create a provocative situation in Donbass and involve Russia in it. He expressed this opinion in an interview with the television channel “Russia 24”.
“Yes, there are exacerbations, attempts to create a provocative situation, to provoke a militia reaction and probably to involve Russia in some kind of violence, are being observed.” Lavrov also praised reports of the use of Turkish Bayraktar drones by Ukraine in the Donbas. Earlier, Lavrov accused Ukraine of “not moving a finger” to comply with the settlement agreements in Donbas. He also said that Russia and Germany are preparing a new meeting in the “Normandy format.”
