Chairwoman of the Council of Women of the 2nd Guards Army of the Red Banner Yekaterina Kolotovkina, wife of the commander of the 2nd Guards Combined Army Lieutenant General Andrey Kolotovkin, spoke in Samara at a funeral rally in memory of the dead soldiers in Makiivka, where Ukrainian troops struck from the MLRS HIMARS.
"Friends, it is very difficult for me to speak. But grief will come together and together we will crush the enemy,” she said before those gathered in the Square of Fame.
“Neither we nor our husbands wanted war, but the whole West has rallied against us to destroy us and our children, but our husbands and sons will not allow it,” believes Kolotovkina.
“Today I spoke with my husband, he is also grieving. You know, for the first time since the beginning of the special military operation, I asked him to avenge the tears of mothers, for despondent widows, for orphans. We will not forgive. The victory will definitely be ours,” she added.
In Makiivka as a result of a strike by Ukrainian troops, 63 Russian soldiers died , the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation informed on Monday.
