The Ukrainian side launched negotiations with insurance broker Marsh to launch a new insurance program for its civilian ships transporting grain across the Black Sea. Bloomberg writes about it.
«The program can start as early as September…», — Markus Baker, head of shipping, cargo and logistics at Marsh, said.
According to a Ukrainian government source, the new program could take several weeks to develop.
Previously. Ukrainian authorities have earmarked 20 billion hryvnias (about $547 million) to insure ships that will monitor temporary corridors in the Black Sea.
Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Aleksey Danilov  ;said that Kyiv will not stop to send grain ships even after the withdrawal of the Russian Federation from the agreement.
