Robot robotic project complex , which is designed to effectively suppress street riots, designed by scientists from the Kabardino-Balkaria Science Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The Turtle Robot plans to quell the protests with electric shock devices, net throwers and fast-setting foam.

Turtle robot, according to design documents, has an aerodynamic body resembling a shell. Scientists have created its shape so that even a physically strong and agile person will have a problem grabbing and overturning a robot. This body type is also designed to minimize the likelihood of injury because it has no protrusions or corners in the mechanism.
There are two robot modifications. The first is a high-speed model for arresting individual offenders and “dissecting” the crowd. The second model – robots – “shield carriers” for quick installation of barriers.
The size of the turtle robot is about the waist of a man. They will be able to reach speeds of up to 60 km/h.
