Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant announced that the IDF captured the western part of Gaza City and cleared the neighborhoods of all Hamas operatives and property.
He also noted that the IDF is now starting a new phase from the ground operation.< /p >
Additionally, Gallant mentioned “significant findings” during the inspection of Al-Shifa Hospital, but did not provide details. Media previously reported that Israeli soldiers had discovered weapons and a Hamas command post there.
