Company Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) has introduced two new additions to its portfolio of electronic warfare systems designed to defend against a wide range of threats on land and at sea. The latest versions of Scorpius are based on electronically scanned active matrix (AESA) technology, which takes advantage of its various advantages to provide what the company claims is a new type of soft-kill capability on land and at sea.

The IAI officially announced the existence of the new Scorpius G (land) and Scorpius N (navy) systems on Thursday, November 11.

The latest products are based on technologies that have been used in the two previous onboard modules, Scorpius SP (self-defense) and SJ (counter-silencer), as well as in the ground training version of Scorpius T., writes The War Zone.
