Military wing group Palestinian Islamic Jihad's Al-Quds Brigade announced the destruction of 11 IDF combat vehicles in the Gaza Strip, RIA Novosti reports, citing the group's statement.

The equipment was reportedly destroyed by Tandom and “guerrilla war bombs.” The locations of the battles are called Zeitoun, Tel el-Hawa, al-Shati, Sheikh Radwan and Juhr el-Dik.

“During the hours today, our fighters for the faith were able to hit 11 different Zionist military vehicles,” the report said .

Earlier, Israel and Hamas, through Qatar, reached the first major agreement since then, agreeing to end hostilities for 4 days and to carry out hostages and detainees within a specified period. According to the agreement, 50 Israeli hostages (women and children) will be released in exchange for 150 Palestinian prisoners (women and children under 19). Hostilities are scheduled to cease on the morning of November 23rd.

On the morning of October 7, Israel was subjected to an unprecedented rocket attack from the Gaza Strip as part of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, announced by the military wing of the Palestinian movement Hamas. At the same time, organized groups of Hamas fighters began to infiltrate Israeli territory, easily overrunning the first line of defense of the Israeli army, taking hostages and causing serious damage. Israel later launched Operation Iron Sword, attacking the Gaza Strip and cutting off all supplies of water, food, electricity, medicine and fuel. Attacks are also carried out on the territory of neighboring Lebanon and Syria.

At the moment, the death toll from Israeli army strikes in the Gaza Strip has exceeded 14,500, including 20 Russian citizens, and the number of wounded has exceeded 35,000. In addition, Hamas militants may be holding up to 150 Israelis as hostages. More than 1.4 thousand people were killed in Israel.

The Russian Foreign Ministry called on the parties to stop all hostilities. Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that a solution to the crisis is possible only on the basis of the “two-state” formula approved by the UN Security Council, i.e. the creation of an independent Palestinian state within the 1967 borders with the capital in East Jerusalem. .

Israeli authorities have previously said they have no intention of cooperating with the International Criminal Court (ICC) in its investigation into the conflict in Palestine. The ICC announced that 5 states had immediately requested an investigation into the situation in Gaza. We are talking about countries such as South Africa, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Comoros and Djibouti. At the same time, an investigation is already underway into Israeli actions committed since June 13, 2014 in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem.
