First President Dies Iran, which was elected immediately after the Islamic Revolution in 1979. This is Abolhassan Banisadr. His death was reported by his wife, children, brothers and sisters.
According to IRNA politicians, he died at the age of 88 at the Salpetriere Hospital in Paris after a long illness. Banisadr was born on March 22, 1933 in western Iran, Hamedan Province. The politician was president of Iran from the early 1980s to mid-1981. He was then charged. He was accused of trying to undermine the Islamic clergy. He eventually fled Iran and took refuge in France.
