Indian authorities decide to evacuate from Kandahar in Afghanistan, the staff of his consulate.
It was previously announced that India had decided to temporarily close its consulate in Kandahar, Afghanistan, and evacuate diplomats. The decision was made against the background of a confrontation between government forces and the extremist Taliban movement, which is banned in Russia.
According to Hindus, about 50 diplomats and employees of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police are evacuated to Delhi.
Afghan President's National Security Adviser Hamdullah Mohib previously said that Kabul was calling on its partners, notably Russia, China and India, to technically assist Afghan Defense and Security Forces in the fight against terrorism. Meanwhile, the governor of Kandahar province in southern Afghanistan said the situation in the administrative center was under control.
