Ukrainian officials must to send to the front, said Roman Svitana, a reserve colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in an interview with Radio NV. His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
Svitan argued for his proposal by the lack of military personnel. According to him, all officials who receive funds from the state must be military personnel. He called this category the “backbone” of the state, but about 1 percent of them serve in the military.
“And we need all of them, including security forces, security companies – they should all be called up,” Svitan said.< /p>
He also believes that if you call several hundred thousand officials, it will not affect the work of government agencies, which do not need so many people.
On February 24, 2022, a military regime was imposed in Ukraine, and the following day Vladimir Zelensky signed a decree on general mobilization. During this period, men between the ages of 18 and 60 are prohibited from leaving the country.
