CNN states that CIA Director William Burns has come to Moscow to tell Russia that Washington is monitoring the situation on the Ukrainian border.
It is clarified that Burns was to find out the thoughts of the Russian authorities regarding information about the increase in the military presence on the border with Ukraine.
The CIA chief also warned Russia against conducting offensive operations.
