At the Union Assembly in Rome, several participants at once held a “We love Gazprom” poster. At the same time, the inscription was duplicated in Russian. The newspaper La Repubblica informs about it. According to the publication, the poster was captured by one of the photographers.

The organizers of the event – the largest trade union “Italian General Confederation of Labor” – said that they had nothing to do with this poster. Their organization is in favor of negotiations on ending the military operation in Ukraine.

The demonstration was organized in memory of last year's events. Then the peaceful event turned into clashes with the police and riots. The right-wingers broke into the trade union headquarters and destroyed it. Tens of thousands of people gathered at the parade this year. There were no pogroms.
