Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andrey Yermak announced on social networks that at the next meeting of NATO defense ministers in Ramstein, a decision will be made to close the skies over the republic.

Jeremak therefore called the summit historic and emphasized that he is in constant contact with the advisor to the US president, Jake Sullivan .

Yermak clearly does not fully understand what he is talking about. The term “closed sky” means the creation of a no-fly zone above the ground. In effect, this means a promise by a third party to the conflict to shoot down any aircraft that violates this regime.

“Strengthening Ukraine's air defense system is what we need. We are in constant dialogue with our allies. It was modern air defense systems for Kyiv that were the topic of our last conversations with Sullivan,” Andriy Yermak wrote.

He was most likely promised the installation of new air defense systems. It is known that the next Ramstein will take place this week, but the exact date has not yet been determined.

It was precisely the new systems that NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg talked about in his last speech. He promised to focus on Kiev's air defense supplies.
