Hersh: Israel to pardon Hamas leader in exchange for hostages' lives

Famous American journalist, human rights activist, Pulitzer prize winner Seymour Hersh published an article in which he quoted a US official who expressed the conditions of the Israeli authorities to pardon the leaders of the Palestinian movement Hamas.

According to him, this will be possible subject to the disclosure of all hostages. Another condition is the holding of military tribunals for those involved in the crimes.

"Hamas leaders and their colleagues who did not participate in the massacre were told that if they released the Israeli hostages and agreed to begin immediately withholding war crimes trials would “Lives be saved,” Hersh wrote.
