Member of the State Duma Defense Committee Andrei Gurulev said in an interview with Ura.ru that if Russia is preparing for a new offensive in Ukraine, then no one will know about its plans.
So Gurulev commented on the words of the former commander of the Azov Regiment (recognized as a terrorist organization and banned in Russia) Maxim Zhorin, who said that the mobilized Russians had already been trained and were ready for a major offensive. “I'm sure it will,” Zhorin told Ukraine's NV publication.
“If it's being prepared, no one will ever know about it, including the armed forces,” Gurulev replied. /p>
The main task of the RF armed forces, according to the general, is to find the direction of the main strikes. In this case, you have to deceive the enemy and inflict maximum defeat on him. And this is achieved when the enemy is not pushed out, but surrounded and destroyed.
“That is what we will strive for,” said Gurulev.
