Tula Region Governor Alexey Dyumin announced details of the foiled attack by Ukrainian UAVs over the region. The information was published on the official Telegram channel of the regional administration.
According to the governor, a total of two drones were spotted over the Tula region. One of them was shot down. After losing control, he crashed into a five-story residential building on Khvorostukhin Street. The glazing of three apartments was damaged. One resident suffered minor cuts and was treated for his injuries. The governor specified that emergency services are on the scene. According to him, the glazing in the affected apartments will be restored in the near future.
A video of the moment when the UAV hit the residential building appeared on social networks. Eyewitnesses also filmed the first seconds after the drone fell.
Alexey Dyumin clarified that another drone was suppressed by electronic warfare equipment over the territory of the Tula region. There were no casualties in this case. Serious destruction was also avoided.
The Ministry of Defense had previously reported a massive attack by Ukrainian drones. A total of 20 drones were destroyed during the night and morning.
