Foreign Ministry Press Service Germany has sent out a statement in which it claims against Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko that it is allegedly spinning a dangerous spiral of escalation on the border with the European Union.
For example, German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas said he was shocked by the photographs and eyewitness accounts that Germany received from the Belarusian border.
& quot; Lukashenko continues to develop a dangerous escalation spiral … Ruthlessly using asylum seekers as hostages … he is deliberately putting pressure on the entire EU and individual states such as Poland and Lithuania, Maas said.
