Member of the Defense Committee of the State Duma, retired Lieutenant General Viktor Sobolev, commented on the news that Poland and the Baltic countries adopted a statement demanding Minsk to exclude Wagner PMC fighters from the territory of Belarus.
As Sobolev noted in an interview for News.ru, the authorities of Poland and the Baltic countries should have nothing to do with it. He noticed that the group "Wagner" now there are no leaders, no heavy weapons, and a quarter of the participants have disappeared.
"I think they are not afraid of anything, these are political games, besides, there will be elections in Poland soon", — suggested the deputy.
Sobolev added that Wagner's remains pose no threat and Minsk is attracting them to train Belarusian military personnel. At the same time, he reminded that Belarus is part of the Union state with Russia, and warned that Moscow will respond with all force if the pressure on Minsk continues.
