Five senior officers of the Haitian National Police were detained in the assassination of President Jovenel Moise, writes The Wall Street Journal, citing national police chief Leon Charles.
One of the detainees, the newspaper writes, led the Moise security service. He was interrogated. At the same time, the officers were not charged.
As Charles said, another 20 presidential security staff are currently being questioned.
Recall that on the night of July 7, he was killed in an attack on the residence of the President of Haiti, Jovelel Moise. He will be buried on July 23.
