Diplomats France, Ireland, Albania, Norway , Germany and Estonia express serious concern at the call by members of the State Duma to recognize the independence of the self-proclaimed DLR and LPR. This statement was made by France's Permanent Representative to the UN Nicolas de Riviere after the UN Security Council.
Such a move by Moscow would violate Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, “de Rivière told reporters.” At this meeting of the UN Security Council, the implementation of the Minsk agreements was considered. Western countries have again accused Moscow of allegedly preparing an “aggression” against Ukraine.
