According to the authors of the publication, the creation of large nuclear icebreakers can provide Russia with valuable experience that could later be useful in the development of nuclear aircraft carriers.
Experts also point out that in the coming years, the North Sea route may become an international heavy-duty logistics route, and in this situation the country will need a large number of icebreakers.
