British Army expands his group in Afghanistan. The main goal is to evacuate citizens from this country. The British Prime Minister approved the use of Royal Air Force aircraft for these purposes. A total of 600 British troops will head to Kabul. They will pull out the citizens of the United Kingdom and Afghan specialists who worked for the British. The operation is planned for several weeks. Coordination will be provided by a specialized headquarters located in Northwood (a suburb of London).

After the US military left Afghanistan, Taliban fighters became active there (the organization is recognized as a terrorist in the Russian Federation and is banned). At the beginning of August, they conquered the administrative center of one of the provinces. It happened for the first time in five years. The Taliban later announced the conquest of nine more major cities. US intelligence services suggest that extremists may take control of Kabul next month.
