Former German Chancellor Angela Merkel in her first on her retirement day, she visited her new office on Unter den Linden in Berlin, writes Bild.
Earlier, Merkel said she wanted to sleep after retirement, but she left for her apartment at 8 a.m. on Thursday and went to the office, standing in the morning traffic jams.
The publication also states that Merkel visited her favorite supermarket in the city center, the company was only a bodyguard. After lunch, she left the office and went home.
