The White House leader stressed that the world is changing rapidly, so it is important for Washington that the United States work closely with partners and allies to maintain technological advantages, strengthen the supply chain, and enforce rules governing technology to support democracy, not autocracy.
“At the same time, we must work with countries such as China and Russia, which are rivals, possibly deadly rivals in the future,” Biden TASS was quoted as saying. At the same time, Biden identified areas where the interests of the United States, Russia and China coincide. This is especially the problem of climate change – a threat that, according to him, affects all countries.
The US president used to call “problems” that Russian President Vladimir Putin has. According to Biden, the main challenge for the Kremlin is the problems in the economy, which is based on two “dubious whales” – oil and nuclear weapons.
The politician added that in his opinion Putin is aware of his “unpleasant situation”, which makes the Russian leader even more dangerous.
