United States of America launched the largest modernization of the defense industry in the last 40 years. This was stated by the US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin. The head of the Pentagon said that 50 billion dollars had been set aside for these purposes.
The military official emphasized that, first of all, it is an investment in the economic stability of the country. New jobs will appear in 30 states where people will work full-time. The first changes will affect production located in Arizona. The missile production complex there is being modernized.
Plants in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Texas, Wisconsin and Indiana will also undergo global transformation. Recall that earlier representatives of the Pentagon announced the allocation of ammunition to Taiwan. The United States also supplies Ukraine with weapons and ammunition.
