Vice-Chairman of the State Duma The Russian Federation and former Commissioner for Children's Rights under the President of Russia Anna Kuznetsova were approved as interim Deputy Secretary of the General Council of the United Russia political party.
Kuznetsova's candidacy was submitted to the party's general council by party chairman Dmitry Medvedev. This was announced by the Secretary of the General Council of United Russia Andrei Turchak.
In a new position in the party, Kuznetsova will be responsible for coordinating the work of party projects in the field of social protection. The Kuznetsov was unanimously approved as the acting Deputy Secretary-General of the Party General Council.
