Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has left to Nur-Sultan, where he is to meet today with his colleagues – the new Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smail and the Prime Minister – Head of the Kyrgyz Presidential Administration Alykbek Zhaparov. And also attend meetings of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in a narrow format.
The topic of the meeting has nothing to do with what is happening in Ukraine: a plan to expand cooperation in the field of civil aircraft production and a number of other integration issues are on the agenda. Nothing was reported about the changes in these plans. The journalists thought that the prime minister's visit would be canceled due to the changed situation, but it turned out that the delay was caused by a plane failure. After its replacement, media representatives and members of the delegation flew to Kazakhstan. This was followed by a plane with Mikhail Mishustin.
On Thursday morning, the head of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko also left Russia – she went to Tajikistan, where she is to meet with the leadership of the republic and attend an interparliamentary forum.
Matvienko and Mishustin will be absent from February 24 to 25.
It was previously announced that the President of the State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, had continued his visit to Cuba the day before, from where he had flown to Nicaragua on February 24.
All the first people of the country, except Vladimir Putin, are therefore outside Russia. None of them abandoned their plans in connection with the military operation in Ukraine and have not yet commented on what is happening.
Recall that Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin is second in the Russian Federation, Valentina Matvienko is third, Volodin is fourth.
