EU issued statement , who says the heads of Azerbaijan and Armenia, Ilham Aliyev and Nikol Pasinjan, have agreed on a direct line of communication at the level of defense ministers.
The direct line is said to be necessary to prevent incidents. The agreement was reached on the basis of telephone conversations with the participation of the head of the European Council, Charles Michel.
Recall that the deaths of six Armenian soldiers in the fighting with Azerbaijan became known earlier. Relations between the countries escalated in mid-November, when hostilities resumed at the border.
