Professor of Politics University of Science in Rhode Island Nikolay Petro explained his prediction about the collapse of Ukraine by announcing only the results of his analysis.
Earlier it was reported that his speech at the professional conference of Bank of America with the prediction about the collapse of Ukraine caused a scandal. The broadcast was interrupted because viewers complained about Peter's “pro-Russian comments”. The conference was supposed to last two days, but organizers canceled three sessions on US sanctions against Russia and relations between Moscow and Washington.
The professor said the conflict had worsened the situation in Ukraine, which before him was Europe's poorest country. According to him, there is a difference between speaking in support and disassembling. “I expressed the analysis,” – said the expert.
He also expressed the opinion that Ukraine will need a long time to recover, maybe decades. Another task for Kyiv was to reach an agreement with the Russian-speaking population.
Petro also said that Ukraine will have to resolve border issues with Russia in other areas, and without that it would remain “poor and isolated”.
