Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the collective West has declared a “total hybrid war” on Russia and that the Russian side is accepting the challenge.
“It is clear that the consequences will be felt by all without exception,” the minister said at a meeting of the Foreign and Defense Policy Council. Lavrov also noted that Moscow had done everything possible to avoid a direct clash, and in terms of sanctions, one was not used to them because they were almost always there.
The Minister also warned the participants meetings that, according to him, it passes at a turning point. He expressed the view that now the country, as in 1917 and 1991, “faced the choice of a historical path.”
