Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation General of the Army Sergei Shoigu he had a telephone conversation with Hulusi Akar, chief of the Turkish military department. The press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation informed about it.
The main topic of telephone talks between the two military ministers was the situation in Ukraine. In particular, humanitarian issues related to the evacuation of civilians were discussed.
Recall that Turkey recently refused to participate in NATO military exercises. The country has also not imposed sanctions on Russia, but at the same time continues to supply Ukraine with drones.
