Member of Pussy Riots Maria Alekhina was detained at her house in Moscow by police. TASS reports with reference to the girl's lawyer Daniil Berman.

According to the defender, Alekhina was stopped and detained by the police, then transferred to the ward. The reasons for the arrest are still unknown. It is possible that this is due to the earlier arrest of Lyudmila Stein.

It has previously been revealed that Deputy Ljudmila Steinová was detained by the police and transferred to the Tverskoye Police Department. The MP was suspected of promoting Nazi symbols, for which Russia has administrative responsibility.

Recall that both Alekhina and Stein were previously sentenced to prison terms for violating hygiene and epidemiological standards during an unauthorized assembly in January 2021.
